The challenge was to provide a solution that could accurately monitor fuel consumption across all consumers while providing real-time data to the crew, as per the Charter requirements.
The TRICON™ Vessel Fuel Monitoring System, a comprehensive and cost-effective solution, featured Coriolis Mass Flowmeters for precise bunker measurement, and DFM Marine Fuel Flow Meters for monitoring fuel consumption across both the main engines and auxiliary generators. The system also provided real-time data with customized onboard displays, tracking fuel usage per engine and offering detailed trends to the crew for easy monitoring.
Tritek’s team of experts meticulously installed and configured the system, within record time, ensuring seamless integration with the vessel’s automation systems. The system was also designed to handle power loss, with BIOS settings configured for data restoration, adding another layer of reliability.
