Retrofit of AMS with TRICON IMAC

Offshore supply vessel and is sailing under the flag of India. Her length overall (LOA) is 62.2meters

The existing AMS was upgraded with TRICON IMAC, a Siemens PLC-based solution with redundant architecture. This vessel was equipped with Wartsila W26 engines and Caterpillar auxiliary engines.  The integrated systems include tank level monitoring, valve control system, shaft bearing temperature monitoring, Main and auxiliary engine parameters and alarms.

In addition, the system was equipped with a data logger to meet the vessel’s charter requirements.
Various parameters are stored for a minimum of 30 days, including:

• • Main engine parameters such as exhaust gas temperatures of individual units, RPM, and pitch

• • Shaft generators load in KW and its bearing temperature.

• • Thrusters pitch and load in KW

• • Auxiliary engines RPM and load in KW

This upgraded system enhances the vessel’s operational efficiency and safety by providing comprehensive monitoring and control capabilities.
