These two IRS Class, 67M Anchor Handling Tug Supply/Fire-Fighting Support Vessel sister vessels saw not only one but two TRICON™ Solutions designed, supplied, installed and commissioned onboard.
The Dynamic Positioning phase of the project was a conversion from a Kongsberg CPOS DP1 to the TRICON™ DP 2 System. On the other hand, the Rolls Royce HELICON-X (2XMain CPP + 2 X BT + 2 X ST) controls were retrofitted with the TRICON™ MK Propulsion Control Series.
This challenging project required both the Tritek Dynamic Positioning Team and the Tritek Automation Team to work in tandem to ensure both TRICON™ were seamlessly integrated and met the demanding project schedule as both vessels were contracted for a long-term charter. The vessel, now equipped with these TRICON™ Solutions, further benefit with remote support facilities provided, wherein our 24/7 service support team can assist with remote troubleshooting even from our office located in the Middle East!
