Low Voltage Motor Control Center for a FPSO Project

We are excited to share a success story where we delivered a comprehensive Low Voltage Motor Control Center (LV MCC) for a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel project.

Project Overview: Our scope encompassed the Design, Engineering, Supply, and Commissioning of the LV MCC, ensuring that it meets the rigorous standards required for FPSO operations. This project was executed with ABS Class approval, underscoring the high quality and reliability of our solution.

Key Highlights:

    • Type Tested Assembly Switchboards: Our LV MCC was constructed using type-tested assembly switchboards compliant with IEC61439 Parts 1 and 2. This guarantees safety and performance under various operational conditions.

    • Enclosure and Busbar System: The switchboard was designed using Rittal enclosures paired with a robust Busbar system, featuring 2 Incomers and a Bus Coupler to enhance operational flexibility and reliability.

    • Advanced Components:
        • Schneider Electric Switchgears and Motor Controllers were integrated to ensure precision control and reliability.

        • F650 Series GE Protection Relay was employed to provide superior protection and monitoring capabilities.

Achievements:

    • Successfully met stringent ABS Class standards.

    • Delivered a high-quality, reliable, and efficient MCC system tailored for the demanding FPSO environment.
