Scope of work: Supply & Installation of Highlander SVDR 600

Project Overview:

An oil tanker operating in Egypt, required the replacement of its existing Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) system to maintain compliance with current IMO performance standards and ensure reliable recording of bridge data.

Tritek Power & Automation’s Navigation and Communication team was appointed to execute the complete retrofit, including the supply, installation, integration, and commissioning of the Highlander SVDR 600 system.

The upgrade was essential to ensure accurate capture and secure storage of critical navigational, audio, radar, AIS, and communication data, enhancing operational safety and regulatory compliance.
