This project involved the installation of the EcoPulse – Ultrasonic anti-fouling system in the UAE, delivered as part of advanced marine biofouling prevention and vessel performance optimization initiatives. We are the authorized partner for OES Group’s UAFS (Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling System) in the UAE, delivering certified supply, installation, and commissioning services for this advanced marine technology.

Traditional anti-fouling methods such as coatings and chemical treatments required frequent maintenance and dry-docking, leading to increased operational costs and downtime. The vessel operator required a sustainable, eco-friendly anti-fouling solution that would deliver long-term protection against marine growth while complying with environmental regulations in the GCC. 

The installed ultrasonic anti-fouling system (UAFS), improves hydrodynamic performance, reduces fuel consumption, and eliminates the need for toxic biocides, making it an ideal solution for modern vessels. OES Group’s EcoPulse Solution are IMO-compliant and meet international standards for environmentally responsible marine protection.

KEY CHALLENGES:

• Installation of the transducers without affecting the existing structural or piping layouts. 
• A limited downtime window for installation and commissioning
• Ensuring reliable ultrasonic transmission through cooling system components of varying thickness and material.

• Deployment of 2 control panels managing 12 ultrasonic transducers
• Non-invasive integration with existing cooling system design.
